Rodney's Biography

Rodney Pillsbury was born in and practices in Greenville , South Carolina . He graduated from the University of Tennessee (cum laude) and received his law degree from the University of South Carolina . Admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1989, Mr. Pillsbury has been a continuous member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association since that time. He has been published nationally in Trial Magazine (February 2001), as well as in South Carolina Trial Lawyer Magazine (Winter 1998). Mr. Pillsbury practices in state and federal court and has argued cases before the South Carolina Supreme Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals (Fourth Circuit).
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Pillsbury has been instrumental in organizing the attendance of Greenville County students at oral arguments held in Greenville by the South Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He regularly judges student mock trial competitions and participates in the Bar Association's Ask-A-Lawyer program. He is also president of Foxcroft Homeowners Association.
